I learned one of Radiology's secrets tonight: "They keep me inebriated and periodically tazer me." Hmm, that explains a lot.... :)

Yesterday's Unhelpfulness with Cars

Yesterday after work, I had to go to my Ethics class. As I was parking, I noticed a guy looking under the hood of his car, fiddling with things. So, I got out of my car and went to see if I could help.... Jen: "Are you okay?" Guy: "Yeah, my ... *blah blah blah blah* ... pressure ... *blah blah blah* ... hydraulics ... *blah blah blah* ..." Jen: *blinks* "Do you need a phone to call someone?" Guy: "Nope, got my own phone. I'm okay." *smiles* Jen: *recognizing her utter uselessness* *smiles* "Okay." Guy: "Thanks, though." Jen: "No problem."

Yesterday's Faux Pas

Yesterday, one of our nurses came looking for one of my surgeons. Jen: "Oh, he's at a meeting, but he'll be home soon." He works long hours, but I'm not sure he considers his office to be 'home'. Oops.

Humor at Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday, I went to my PCP's office. We had a conversation about pregnancy: Jill: "Are you guys trying again to get pregnant?" Jen: "Well, we are getting divorced...." Jill: "Oh. So, are you going to try to get pregnant again?" Jen: *blinks* "Yeah, I figured I'd just go to the nearest bar, pick up some guy...." Jill: "Jen!"

Hmmm.... New Blog...

Interesting idea. I wonder how many times I will actually remember to update my blog. Probably not too often.... We will see.
